22 Years of Passion, Learning, and Unity

Where do I begin to tell the story of how inseparable RE has been from me. It all began back in 1996 when I got selected for playing trumpet for my college brass band. Little did I realize then that RE will continue to be part and parcel of my life thereon, for almost 22 years now. The lyrics of the song Hotel California aptly describe RE. It goes like,"You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave." . From trumpet mastero Maynard Ferguson to Double bass player Prof. Paul Erhard, I was previledged to be taught by such renowned musicians. A dedicated 2 to 3 hours of practice session almost every day for seven years laid the foundation for me RE has not only taught me the art of playing trumpet, but also the art of purposeful living. Pleothra of emotions and memories cross my mind when I write this note on my band. . The USP of RE is the joy of being together. Batches of band members spanning across decades keep the spirit of RE effervescent. And there's a fresh energy brewing, everytime we perform. . Each one in RE plays for the other and all play music to spread sheer love and happiness. This is Rhythmic Energy to me.
