From Train Delays to Musical Magic: Our Journey to Hyderabad

It was somewhere in June of 2012, when we were boarding night train to Hyderabad from Yeshwantpur Railway Station. There were around 15-20 of us. We all had arrived the station on time except for one of our RE members and his family. They were still on their way as the train was about to depart. We were all extra concerned as that guy was supposed to be getting dinner for all of us ;) . . . A couple of guys got this 'brilliant' idea of going and convincing the train driver to delay the train by another 10 minutes. The driver mocked at them and said "this is not a bus." But surprisingly, just at the time of departure, one of the vital pipes of the train had a leak and the train had to be delayed by another 15 minutes! Not to mention, all of us boarded the train safely. . . . Our agenda was to do a concert for children of a small school in Hyderabad. Our objective was to spread smiles through music. And we did. We had elaborate brass arrangements (which were never heard of before) of peppy tunes like of Bachna Ae Haseeno & Andamaina Prema Rani to the inspiring numbers like Final Countdown and Brass explosion that left the audience grooving. A Trumpet solo of popular Bollywood song 'Mustafa Mustafa' by @sakethram86 left no kid sitting on his/her seat. It was sheer joy to watch them jump, dance, cheer and lose themselves. . . . Music is indeed a powerful weapon to spread love, I learnt it that day. Again
